Morgantown, VA — David Michael Romanoski, 48, of Morgantown was shot and killed earlier this month by police after they broke into his house in search of two robbery suspects.

As we've covered before, the DOJ supports the idea of body cameras for local law enforcement agencies. It has set aside over $20 million a year in funding to help these agencies out. But it has no love for body cameras within its own agencies. There are no body cam requirements in place for FBI, DEA, ATF or the US Marshals Service.
An undercover police officer in Arlington, Texas was shot while attempting to place a GPS tracker on a person's vehicle, and the man who shot him may not even be charged, WFAA reports.
