The GuardianDec 16
Exam boards are to review the way school textbooks are endorsed after leading authors complained that they are being leant on to write more simplistic texts to win the multi-million pound contracts.

Textbook writers today claim that they are being told to write books which encourage "parrot-learning" to get pupils through exams at the sacrifice of wider critical thinking and learning.

There is widespread concern that children are reading fewer books, losing confiden

Labour's bin tax will lead to more bonfires and pollution, say experts
The Daily MailDec 16
New "green" taxes on household waste will cause more toxic pollution as ratepayers dodge the levy by burning their own rubbish, it was warned last night.

Around 40 per cent of homes will opt to build their own garden bonfires if Labour's bin taxes are introduced, research suggests.

Dubbed the "pay-as-you-throw" tax, the controversial legislation will allow councils to impose extra charges on households that throw out large amounts of non-recyclable rubbish.

Plastic surgery, as a whole, is a media created scam. There are no "successful" plastic surgeries, every plastic surgery I have ever seen in my entire life was a butchery, nothing more. I don't give a damn if they have board certification or not.

As to this story, anyone who thinks Oprah was "fooled" is kidding themselves, all these media hacks know exactly what they're doing, they are paid whores, and they do their jobs with gusto.

Check out Oprah's site whoring for this guy before they pull it and this is all pushed under the rug. - Chris
