With a bomb strapped to his chest, one of the Boston Marathon suspects was killed early Friday after he and his accomplice brother robbed a 7-Eleven, shot a police officer to death, carjacked an SUV and hurled explosives in an extraordinary firefight with law enforcement, authorities told NBC News.
"This was a trauma arrest... multiple injuries, a combination of blasts, multiple gunshot wounds... shrapnel.. thermal injury... there were signs of more than just gunshot wounds."

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.
"They kept making announcements to the participants do not worry, it's just a training exercise," Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15.

A bi-partisan group of US representatives led by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) Friday introduced legislation that would end the enforcement of federal marijuana laws in states that have either legalized it or adopted medical marijuana laws. When CPL Noel Guerin #3266 put out his hand to shake mine at the beginning of this video I was taken aback. Most of the time the only time cops approach us is to harass us or arrest us.
