The United Kingdom has gone batshit crazy. There’s simply no other way to put it. I warned about Britain’s “war on toddler terrorists” earlier this year in the post: wrote about a US House "suspension" bill that would give the Secretary of State the authority to cancel your passport if he decided that you had "aided" an organization that he rules is terrorist. There is no definition of what "aided" means, no chance to dispute the Secretary's decision, no trial or presentation of evidence, and in fact any evidence th... (more)

MTV is continuing its crusade to mainstream tumblr/social justice warrior insanity with a new video that targets white people for “racial microaggressions” directed against people of color – awful things such as… saying you like black culture.
These so-called “racial microaggressions,” which are also being c... (more)
Does the government need a search warrant to know where you’ve been? Not if your cell phone provider knows. If you don’t like how that sounds, there may be ways to change it.
Take the case of Quartavious Davis, a Florida man convicted of robbing at gunpoint a pizzeria, a gas station, a drugstore, an auto parts store, a beauty salon, a fast food restaurant, and a jewelry store. The prosecution offered multiple lines of evidence, but there was one in particular that Da... (more)

Seeing a man in confederate flag shorts attending the Bluesfest music festival in Ottawa earlier this week caused leftists in Canada to literally fear for their safety as they said it was the equivalent of seeing "someone wearing a swastika."
Despite the man having no affiliation whatsoever with the event nor it's organizers, perpetually outraged "victims" are demanding the Bluesfest outfit apologize for allowing the man entry despite his nazi-esque attire.
A photograph of a man holding a Confederate flag outside the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity at the University of Missouri poses a threat, according to a university chancellor.
"Especially considering recent events in South Carolina concerning the Confederate flag, this photo may be considered offensive and possibly even threatening to some of our community members," said Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin in a statement. "MU officials do not condone any activities that could threaten the saf... (more)
A family was threatened at gunpoint for waving the Confederate flag on their own private property in another illustration of how controversy surrounding the flag is only driving more animosity.
The incident occurred on Monday night in Moseley, Virginia while the family was expressing their First Amendment right by waving the flag in their own driveway next to a busy highway. A man driving an SUV pulled into the driveway, took out his gun, chambered a round, pointed it at the fami... (more)

I don't have cable. I almost never watch TV. I never see cable news unless someone points me to a clip online. Yet apparently, with the extended holiday weekend this past weekend, cable news went absolutely bonkers with vague, unsubstantiated claims from government officials about how everyone should be on heightened alert for an attack from ISIS:
The MonkeyParking app will have to delay their hopes of solving the parking problem in the greater San Francisco area because of a cease-and-desist order issued by the city.
MonkeyParking is one of several apps banned by the city that help drivers locate and reserve parking spots faster. The apps allow current occupants of a parking space to get paid to notify nearby drivers of their soon-to-be vacancy.
The city, clearly envious that they couldn't figure out a way t... (more)
Americans are Clueless about George Orwell, 1984, the term "Orwellian," & Edward Snowden when asked by media analyst Mark Dice in San Diego, California.
"If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. Let him forget there is such a thing as war. If the government is inefficient, top-heavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it... Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them ... (more)
