President Trump on Thursday announced he was appointing former NeverTrumper Mark Levin to his Homeland Security Advisory Council.

"I am proud to announce the formation of my revamped Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), which is comprised of Top Experts in their field, who are highly respected by their peers," Trump said Thursday night on Truth Social. "It is a big honor to serve on HSAC, and I know the new Members, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, Mark Levin, Bo Dietl, and Joseph Gruters, will do an incredible job."

"Under Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem's leadership, HSAC will work hard on developing new Policies and Strategies that will help us secure our Border, deport Illegal Criminal Thugs, stop the flow of Fentanyl and other illegal drugs that are killing our Citizens, and MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN. Congratulations to all!" Trump added.

Last month, Levin successfully lobbied for Israel critic Daniel Davis to be blocked from being appointed by Tulsi Gabbard to the position of Deputy DNI for Mission Integration.

"Levin has repeatedly criticized the Trump administration in recent months, accusing the White House of 'negotiating' with 'the vilest subhuman terrorists, the Hamas Nazis,' and 'publicly demeaning Israel's leadership,'" Charlie Nash noted in Mediaite. "In February, Levin also opposed the Trump administration's decision to cut back on its support for Ukraine and condemned conservatives who have criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky."

He will fit right in.
