Elon Musk on Saturday afternoon backtracked on his plan to stop funding Starlink and announced he will keep providing the costly satellite internet service to Ukraine's government "for free."

"The hell with it … even though Starlink is still losing money & other companies are getting billions of taxpayer $, we'll just keep funding Ukraine govt for free," Musk said.

"In other words you will continue your support for the US proxy war in Ukraine despite your better knowledge that this is a US proxy war and the risk of a nuclear war because of the US proxy war?" Kim Dotcom responded. "And we are supposed to believe that you will fix @twitter? How utterly disappointing."

"Damned if you do, damned if you don’t, so … guess I’m just damned," Musk said.

"I love you E. You know that. Many people look up to you. I believe in you. We are facing nuclear war because of reckless US foreign policy in Ukraine. You know that. This is a big one. We have to put our personal interests aside for the sake of humanity. I know you love humanity," Dotcom responded.

"I’m trying my hardest to de-escalate this situation and obviously failing," Musk said.

Bloomberg reported on Thursday that Twitter's court filings showed Elon Musk is under a federal investigation. The news helped tank Tesla's stock by over 7% in one day. Tesla's stock is down 50% from its record high last November, in no small part thanks to the feds going after Musk for bucking the system.
