Man Pleads Guilty in MS-13 Annapolis Double Stabbing

n Annapolis man who police say participated in a double stabbing carried out by members of the MS-13 gang pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit first-degree murder Monday.

Orlando Evelio Gomez-Jimenez, 18, entered the plea in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court.

He had faced 20 other charges linked to the attack of two men off of Hillsmere Drive in October 2016.

Police said he participated in the gang attack when he was 16 years old. MS-13, a transnational criminal gang with roots in El Salvador, is alleged to be behind a number of violent in the Annapolis area,

According to police, a group targeted Luvin Ronan Martinez Nolasco, 19, and Gonzalo Sanchez-Guzman, 28, and lured them into the woods, attacking them with machetes, knives and handguns.

Gomez-Jimenez, who was 16 at the time of the attack, was one of at least eight people charged with the double stabbing.
