A New York police officer fired in 2007 and rehired in 2008 for unspecified reasons has just been fired again for falsifying the pretext for a search warrant in a case which lead to a man inexplicably plunging 40 feet out of a window to his death. From The Journal News: Yonkers police Officer Neil Vera was fired by the police commissioner Tuesday following an internal investigation into his role in the falsification of a search warrant for a School Street apartment where the tenant fell out a window and died during a police raid.Bonita Zelman, the family's attorney said she found the way Tena died suspicious, "the medical examiner said nobody jumps backwards out of a 4th story window." The pair of officers, who had 20 years of experience combined, have reportedly made thousands of arrests over their long and "decorated" careers. Yonkers Police Benevolent Association President Keith Olson said of the two, "they’re the best we have to offer." From the look of things, it seems like these two could star in a remake of the movie Training Day. _ Chris runs the website InformationLiberation.com, you can read more of his writings here.
