UPDATE: This officer is now facing FELONY charges for shooting this dog.
After a neighbor called 911 to report an unknown aggressive dog on the loose, two police officers and an animal control agent showed up to help.
Unbeknownst to the man who called 911, his neighbor was dog sitting a relative's dog, and 9 News reports the dog must have gotten out of the sitter's house by tripping a sensor in the garage.
While aggressive dangerous animals should be neutralized if they're endangering people, this video captured by a neighbor frankly does not show a very aggressive dog, in fact the video shows the officers aggressing against the dog, who was backed into his own garage.
While closing in on the dog, one police officer apparently tasered it, then the animal control agent hooked it around it's neck with a noose, as the noosed dog makes a futile attempt to run away, the second officer guns it down, shooting it five times, despite it being obvious after the first shot the dog was noosed.
9 News reports:
Police say the dog was dangerous but some neighbors say officers went too far.Watch their video report:
For god's sake people, don't call the police unless you want someone, or something, killed. Cops only understand two things, killing people, and extorting people. Unless you want to be extorted or have someone killed, including possibly yourself, stop calling the police. The whole task of "protecting and serving" has taken a backseat to protecting the government and serving their bank accounts through revenue generation. No doubt, if this dog could have been ticketed or fined and then thrown into a private prison costing taxpayers $40,000 a year, it would still be alive today.
