Remember the story of the Lake County, Florida man who answered his door at 1:30AM with a gun and was shot by deputies who mistakenly went to the wrong house? The deputies said they were looking for an "attempted murder" suspect, though the suspect they were looking for actually lived a few doors down. Well, it turns out the "attempted murder" suspect deputies said they were pursuing was actually a Good Samaritan who tried to stop a fight, and the man's lawyer says the deputies "inflated" the charges against him to try and justify their shooting of his innocent neighbor.
LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — All of the charges have been dropped against the alleged attempted-murder suspect Lake County deputies said they were hunting when they killed an innocent man instead.Watch the video report:
Unfortunately, the police exonerated their underlings shortly after they killed Andrew Scott, his family is planning to sue them nonetheless, they will likely simply pay out a settlement with taxpayers' cash and face zero personal liability.
