House Intel Chairman Mike Turner -- whose top funder is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) -- issued a vague warning on Wednesday morning hyping a "serious national security threat" which CNN claims is "related to Russia." The "warning" comes as House Majority Leader Mike Johnson -- whose top funder between 2021-2022 was also AIPAC -- is somewhat remarkably standing up to our sold-out Senate and pledging not to move forward with their $95 billion aid package for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan unless they include funding for securing our southern border. From CNN, "House Intel Chairman announces 'serious national security threat,' sources say it is related to Russia": House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Turner has made intelligence around a "serious national security threat" available to all members of Congress to review. Two sources familiar with the matter and a US official tell CNN the threat is related to Russia. One of the sources who has seen the intelligence confirmed that "it is, in fact, a highly concerning and destabilizing" Russian capability "that we were recently made aware of."Until evidence is provided to prove otherwise, this should be assumed to be nothing more than a scam to push Johnson to move forward with the Senate's "America Last" foreign aid bill. UPDATE: Sure enough, it appears this was a scam:
