Conservative activists called Texas Rep Dan Crenshaw a "sellout" and a "traitor" at the Texas Republican Party convention on Friday before allegedly getting assaulted by Crenshaw's "private police force." WATCH:
Though reports claimed that some people were arrested or detained over the scuffle, Alex Stein said "no one was assaulted today other than myself by Dan Crenshaw's private police force."
The video clearly shows at least two men laying their hands on Stein, shoving him and trying to stop him from filming throughout the confrontation. Whether those are Crenshaw's agents or not I don't know but from the video it looks like Stein is the man who could be pressing charges. Crenshaw responded to the event like a woman by saying: "This is what happens when angry little boys like @alexstein99 don't grow up and can't get girlfriends..."
"Dan, I'm 2 feet taller than you bud...lol," Stein responded.
On Friday, Republican Senator John Cornyn of Texas was also booed for joining with Democrats to back new gun control measures.
