A Fairfield High School student was briefly hospitalized last month when a police officer accidentally shot her with a stun gun at school. Fairfield Police Chief Michael Dickey said the officer was suspended without pay for three days, but will not miss any time at the school. The investigation revealed the officer "displayed his Taser to other students in the past without a valid law enforcement purpose," according to the police report. Read More |
