Police Officer Smashes Car Window After Female Student Wouldn't Roll It 'All The Way Down'

Chris | InformationLiberation

[Action starts at 12:00]

A police officer broke a female student's window after she refused to roll it all the way down. The cop, Timothy Isaacs, ordered Victoria King to her to roll the window down "for his safety" so he can extort her, er, give her a "traffic citation." When King only rolls her window down 40%, Isaacs throws a fit and demands she obey him and submit to his will -- because apparently slipping a citation through a window 5-inches open is too much to ask.

After demanding King's submission for a few minutes and her failing to kiss the ring, Isaacs tells her he is going to escalate the situation by breaking her window, he reaches into her car and then immediately smashes it sending glass everywhere. The officer claimed she tried to close the window on his hand, though it's not clear that's what happened from the video. Regardless, the cop and another female cop who showed up for backup yank King out of her car and place her under arrest. According to the Orlando Sentinel, King was charged with three felonies, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence and resisting an officer without violence. Victoria filed a formal complaint alleging police brutality and excessive force.

9870 I've been through this once before. There is NO LAW that says you have to roll your window all the way down in Florida. The "Officer Safety" angle is total BS! He was looking to Escalate the "Stop". I usually travel with a Big Dog in my truck. I'd love to watch the "Public Servant" bust my window and watch what happens when my Large German Shepard rips out his throat. If another cop shoots my dog in the process, we'll be on the way to Federal Criminal Court and I WILL OWN everything he THINKS he owns.

63225 It's not a badge, it's a bulls eye! The longer the masses allow this, the worse it will get. This must be stopped now - nation wide. Everyone knows what to do.

76108 She will lose this one big time. No cop is required to debate or explain anything. She has turned a ticket into an expensive event that tied up three squad cars. Anyone can tell the judge or even the chief of police their story but arguing with a cop doesn't cut it.

820 The cop said she " rolled up the window on my hand " lying git.

136200 call your senators, congressman and city leaders. tell them to reduce government. this is a problem of too much money in government. Smaller government does not have the time or resources for these kinds of stops. reduced government means you get freedom.

1740 Did I seriously read the above "no cop is required to debate or explain anything"? That is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. The most fundamental right that a person possesses is the right to liberty. Under only the most serious circumstances should any citizen be deprived of their liberty. For a "cop" to deprive someone of their liberty in such a brazen, unjust, violent and unexplained manner (and for a mere alleged moving traffic violation) is at best ridiculous but more prominently, criminal. "Cops" serve us, the people, and we charge them with keeping the peace not disturbing it. A citizen does not have to bow to the demands of a public servant unless the law dictates it. In this case that was not the case. A shocking abuse of power. That officer should be stripped and jailed.

17360 Seriously, your parents probably had the most difficult time raising you.... Can't be told what to do because you don't understand the simple concept of law and order.
