Witness: Someone let gunman inside Colorado movie theater [Video]

Just saw a news report on this on CBS, they showed an interview with this same witness, but then they cut to a voice over and the narrator claimed it was the shooter who exited, then armed himself and came back in. They did not provide any evidence this was the case, yet stated it as fact. - ChrisVia CNN:
AURORA, CO -- A man who was at the Colorado movie theater where a dozen people were killed this morning, says he saw the gunman.

He says he thinks someone deliberately let the gunman inside once the movie started.

Here's what he told TV station KCNC this morning live on their newscast.

"As I was sitting down to get my seat, I noticed that a person came up to the front row, the front right, sat down, and as credits were going, it looked like he got a phone call. He went out toward the emergency exit doorway, which I thought was unusual to take a phone call. And it seemed like he probably pried it open, or probably did not let it latch all the way. As soon as the movie started, somebody came in, all black, gas mask, armor, and threw a gas can into the audience, and it went off, and then there were gunshots that took place."

67159 I think, based on the way he had his apartment wired, he wasn't planning on returning to it. Since he didn't kill himself, and was wearing bulletproof gear, he apparently wasn't planning on dying at the scene. It seems to me that he was planning to escape to somewhere.

5045 I have more confidence in the young man's recollection of what happened as the credits rolled rather than whatever story comes out via the police.

Besides, those doors are steel with heavy duty frames and locks. They are built to open OUTWARD in order for people to exit the theatre in an emergency. That the perp supposedly was outside the door and kicked it INWARD and apparently broke the locks and/or frame and the door opened inward is beyond the realm of possibility.

Either the killer was in the theatre earlier and somehow managed to rig the door slightly ajar for his later surprise arrival OR he had help in getting the door open are the only obvious possibilities.

2474 I use to work at a theater and as long as you didn't let the door latch, you could get back in. He could have not let it latch all the way or put something down in between it. Even balled up paper can be forced into the latch so that the door closes but cannot be locked.
