Meanwhile, this is the drug policy Iran war hawk Newt Gingrich tried to get passed in the US.The Norwegian-based human rights group Iran Human Rights (IHR) has presented its annual report on the death penalty in the Islamic Republic and announce that at least 676 people were executed there last year. Of those, 480, or 71%, were executed for drug offenses, IHR said.
