Hans-Hermann Hoppe is an Austrian school economist of the anarcho-capitalist tradition, a senior fellow of the Ludwig von Mises Institute and a former economics professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is the author of Democracy: The God That Failed; The Economics and Ethics of Private Property, and A Theory of Socialism and Capitalism, and is the editor of The Myth of National Defense.
