I finally got around to writing a comments policy. I suggest everyone read the first part below, it is important for people to not feel powerless or like they are writing into the ether, so I wrote this little tidbit to express how I feel about comments: What we want: The type of comments which we want are personal comments, we want to hear your thoughts. It is important for those of us who actually care to voice our thoughts and express ourselves. Self-expression in this form is the most powerful force in the world, it changes lives and it is the only thing which will get us out of this mess. We want to know your perspective, we want to know what you think, many brilliant minds read this site and we can all learn a lot from each other, but as they say, it all starts with you. As to what we don't want... That's a little harsher! ;) You can see what I have to say to those few sick individuals, a.k.a "trolls", who wish to spew their venom at the full policy here. |
