If you want a glimpse into the mindset of the journalists tasked with covering the Israel-Palestine conflict for the controlled media, look no further than this tweet from The New Yorker's Lawrence Wright. "I never had a source assaulted in front of me until today when an Israeli soldier who stopped my interview did this with a Palestinian peace activist Issa Amro in Hebron," Wright tweeted on Monday, sharing video showing an Israel soldier choking Amro, throwing him to the ground and then kicking him while he's down. "I can't stop thinking how dehumanizing the occupation is on the young soldiers charged with enforcing it," Wright added.
What's dehumanizing is being treated like human garbage while living under occupation. Odds are the thug soldier gets off on abusing others. To his credit, Wright shared video showing the assault was entirely unprovoked:
I wonder if Wright felt he needed to add the line sympathizing with the soldier just so he'd have an excuse to share the video without losing his job? Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab, Minds and Telegram. |
