Squad Members 'Arrested' by Capitol Police For Blocking Traffic Outside Supreme Court, Pretend Like They're in Handcuffs

A total of 17 Democratic members of Congress, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and most of the Squad, were "arrested" outside of the Supreme Court on Tuesday for blocking traffic during a pro-abortion protest.

Correction: We made a total of 35 arrests for Crowding, Obstructing or Incommoding (DC Code § 22–1307).

That arrest number includes 17 Members of Congress.

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene mocked Omar and AOC over the publicity stunt.

You faked being handcuffed for your photo-op today as Cap Police warned you 3 times to get out of the street. Then you were arrested, so you would stop playing in traffic.

The Squad, who championed the "Defund the Police" movement, voted to give Capitol Police nearly $2 billion in new funding last year to turn them into Congress' personal army.

Now they're pretending like they're "oppressed" by the police they flooded with cash to prevent protests like Jan 6 from ever happening again.
