From Reuters, "Netanyahu, in apparent stumble, calls Israel 'nuclear power'": In an apparent slip of the tongue on Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Israel as a nuclear power before correcting himself with a bashful nod and an embarrassed smile.Israel's nuclear program was exposed by Israeli nuclear technician Mordechai Vanunu in 1986. Vanunu was forcibly drugged and kidnapped by the Mossad in Italy and taken back to Israel to be thrown in prison for 18 years. Vanunu was tortured through solitary confinement for 11 of the years he spent in prison. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab and Minds. |
