The Times of Israel condemned staff member Judah Ari Gross for demeaning President Donald Trump as "some goy" in an anti-gentile tweet.
Gross himself only issued a half apology.
The term goy is short for goyim which means cattle in Hebrew. As the Times of Israel acknowledged, it's a derogatory term for non-Jews. The Huffington Post in 2017 took heat after editor Chloe Angyal celebrated Steve Bannon leaving the White House with the headline, "Goy, Bye!" She failed to issue an apology and insisted it was "intended to be a mashup tribute to Yiddish and Beyoncé." Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab and Minds. |
