Teen Filmed Assaulting Elderly Woman At Pool Party Turns Himself In After Being Outed Online

The thug seen assaulting an elderly woman at a pool party in North Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday has been identified as 16-year-old Leon Balfour Jr.

Balfour was outed by internet sleuths on 4Chan's /pol/ shortly after video of his assault went viral.

The Broward Sheriff's Office identified his victim as 68-year-old Nancy James of North Lauderdale.

WPBF reports Balfour was arrested on Monday after turning himself in to authorities at around 5 p.m.

Balfour has been charged with one count of battery on a person 65 years of age or older. He's currently being held at Broward Regional Juvenile Facility. If tried as an adult, he faces minimum three years in prison.
