 Those who never figured out that the United Nations was formed for the purpose of facilitating wars, have been given another opportunity to have the scales fall from their eyes. The UN has just authorized the use of “all necessary means” (i.e., “war”) to “protect” Libyan civilians. Yeah, there’s nothing like a full-scale war -- particularly when conducted with the use of American fighters and bombers -- to “protect” those on whom the bombs will fall. George Orwell would have understood the illogic of this, while the mainstream media will no doubt hail it as a “humanitarian” undertaking!
