Video: FBI Visits Peace Mom About "Pre-Crimes"

A mother and professional nurse is visited at her front door by two FBI agents about her attending peaceful protests. Instead of letting them in, she grabs her video camera and films the interview at her front door with the door remaining open.

She interspersed the video with essential advise for any activist.

2469 So what would have happened if toddler emerged from behind mommy with toy gun?
Or barking puppy?
A sneeze? ...and your dead?
Laffable fattenned fascists.
Prostitutes for pimp Israel. WTF?
Good job,, lady.

71103 in my honest opinion... they were just doing their job and she was being a TOTAL bitch with no respect towards their authority.. i mean.. i agree with everything she's saying but she was being EXTREMELY rude

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 2:22 PM

2469 Try knocking on their door , with questions.

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 2:54 PM

98247 Extremely rude? This is what the population of this country has been conditioned to do: submit sheepishly to authority without questioning. If someone POLITELY questions the authority on their purpose and right to do what they are doing, they are simply exercising their rights!

THAT is NOT rude. THAT is your right. You should always politely question authority. I believe she did an excellent job of handling the situation. the FBI agents clearly lied when they said their visit had nothing to do with the protest. Yeah, right!! Why would then a nurse with 5 kids get a knock on the door from the FBI. Is lying rude? If so, who in this exchange is the rude party???

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 4:05 PM

216148 While I don't agree with her cause, this is super creepy.

No one who participates in non-violent/legal protesting should receive a visit like this.

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 6:00 PM

75166 She had nothing to hide, It is pretty ridiculous that the FBI needs to come check out our own law-abiding citizens like this, and I think that was why she was acting the way she was.

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 6:04 PM

75166 Lol but acting like that just makes her seem suspicious

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 6:14 PM

98163 So well done....And quite frightening to know this is happening.Thank you so much for showing this while we can.....Makes me wonder about my response to that censor person. Can I expect a visit from the men/women in black next?

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 6:21 PM

74197 come on. so what if they come question her? many times, MANY times, protesters turn to violence. as a protester, she is suspect to receive information about other people;'s plans to break the law. What makes her so freaking paranoid. just stand on your front porch and answer the questions. good lord! not that hard.

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 6:24 PM

76119 While I applaud the courage of the women to keep her right not to speak to government officials to keep her privacy in tact, I do believe that the work that the FBI had done was to keep the peace in our own streets.

I highly doubt that this woman had any ideas of radical protesting that would involve violence and the destruction of property. However, not every protester acts in the same manner. These agents were just trying to gather any information they could from someone who knew of these protests and might have had an idea of a radical movement.

I understand that government officials can and will lie to us, but at the same time, the job of these officials is to keep everyone safe on our end.

Best way to get back at them is to keep the protests safe so the message of Isreali apartheid can be spread through our political culture without the involvement of police force.

If she knew there was a plot of destruction from the protesters, I'm sure she speak up. No peaceful protester wants to see someone else get hurt.

Posted: Jun 16 2010, 6:47 PM

7268 They weren't being offensive in the least. Many seemingly peaceful protests lead to violence and it's important for the government to discern the safe groups from the unsafe ones. They in no way are suggesting you are dangerous, they're doing their job, federal bureau of investigation, it's their job to investigate those with strong opinions. Stop harassing them. They're doing the same thing as you, trying to maintain peace.

6525 its merely intimidation. the seed is planted in her head that these thugs will show up to question her about any of her activities. Although I say "merely", its just another form of justified oppression by our fascist government. The agents were quite patient and courteous, although I think the lady was well prepared and justified in acting in the same "surprised" manner.

I see americans still believe they are safe in the hands of government officials, even after what we have been through two decades of deception, fraud, corruption, genocide, and constant barrage of propaganda from the gov. That is our government. Secretive, selfish, arrogant and narcissistic. Very dangerous in my mind. When you begin to realize that there are no real terrorists besides those driving US foreign policy, then maybe change can occur. Until then, the less informed are catered to (i.e., lied to) and are still under the control of the government. And they will do anything for their government, including killing innocent life.

The kids in foster home.
This is utter disgrace.

98247 Some people responding to this thread are purposely ignoring extensive history and evidence of FBI corruption and malfeasance or hopelessly unaware of the real activities and the real purpose of the FBI... Do you think the FBI is out to protect American citizens or the American establishment??

Is Cointelpro a movement to keep citizens safe? Just ask MLK

Did the events of 1993 WTC bombing which FBI instigated and allowed to happen increase America's safety?

Do you feel the FBI protects citizens and "trying to maintain peace" after these documented historical events?:
1917 - IWW 'Wobbly' raids
1919 - 1920's Infiltration of UNIA and targeting Marcus Garvey
1919, 1920 - Palmer Raids
1920 - present - Communist Party U.S.A. infiltration
1920 - 1971 - Investigation of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
1941 - 1976 - Socialist Worker's Party infiltration, burglaries, etc.
1953 - 1966 - Surveillance of Malcolm X
1956 - 1971 - COINTELPRO Panthers, Anti-War Movement, Puerto Rico, KKK
1963 - 1968 - Surveillance and Threats against Dr Martin Luther King, Jr
1968 - 1970's - Infiltration and frame-ups against the Black Panther Party
1972 - 1976 - FBI actions against the American Indian Movement (AIM)
1973 - 1988 - Library Awareness Program
1979 - 1989 - Investigation of General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS)
1981 - 1986 - Burglaries and harassment of CISPES
1989 - 1990 - Earth First! (Arizona Five and Judi Bari)
1989 - 1991 - VANPAC
1992 - Randy Weaver standoff and Vicki Weaver assassination at Ruby Ridge
1993 - World Trade Center Bombing
1993 - Vince Foster's murder cover-up
1993 - 'Waco' seige and inferno (Mount Carmel)
1995 - Oklahoma City (Murrah Building bombed)
1996 - TWA flight 800 crash investigation
1996 - The Centennial Park Bombing - FBI leaks Richard Jewell's name as a suspect.
1997 - FBI Laboratory misconduct (Whitehurst allegations)
2000 - FBI attempts to squelch web sites (, IndyMedia)
2000 - FBI gets caught lying to FISA Court
2001 - FBI gets caught witholding thousands of documents (4,034 pages) from McVeigh Defense Team
2001 - FBI researcher releases Sircam internet worm to the net
2001 - Mass Detentions and Racial Profiling post-9/11
2001 - Colleen Rowley, Harry Samit (FBI agents arresting Moussaoui claiming criminal negligence and obstruction by their superiors)

If you trust such an agency to protect your rights, you may need to see a psychiatrist.

69146 This lady is creepy, she acts as though she is hiding something. Using her family as a human shield, because obviously stay at home moms are 100% respectable, and never do anything wrong. If she was only participating in non-violent protests she would not have people reporting her, or the FBI watching and questioning her. I would rather see her poor kids taken away from her than see those kids grow up surrounded by the vile environment she has brought them into.

It isn't as if any rational person still believes the USA is a free country. Think about it. No-warrant wire taps, indefinite detention of citizens without charges, approval of rendition of prisoners and torture, stop and frisk without probable cause, search and seizure without a warrant, no-knock entry, confiscation and destruction of cameras that might have been used to film police acting illegally, police brutality, police shootings that go without investigation, managed news, and the civil-rights destroying "Patriot" Act.

Acts of police behaving illegally, with shootings, Tasers, and unwarranted violence now appear almost daily. Rarely are these offenses punished. Most often "an investigation" is claimed, but soon forgotten.

In addition, the USA, with 5% of the world population, has 25% of all of the prisoners in the world. That means the USA has the most people in prison of any nation in history. Even by percentage of residents incarcerated, not just sheer numbers. USA is # 1!

Does any of that sound like a free country?

As Dwight D. Eisenhower said about communism, "It's like slicing sausage. First they out off a small slice. That isn't worth fighting over. Then they take another small slice that isn't worth fighting over. Then another and another. Finally, all you have left is the string and that isn't worth fighting over, either.

173202 The FBI is running Nazi Germany denunciation programs and an East German Stasi program called zersetzung in American neighborhoods. With their tendency towards framing people who would think that it was a good idea that these people would be investigating precrime. What starts as an investigation turns into framing tactics and the you get struck in the head over 5000 times with some sort of pressure creating weapon when you don't go along with the program and get framed. These people are simply organized crime operating behind a badge.
