Israel does not exist at the expense of the Lebanese, Lebanon provides a haven, whether purposely or by tacit allowance, for the people that threaten these girls' lives. This is not Gaza, this is not the West Bank, this is a sovereign nation that allows terrorists to operate within its borders. Lebanon cannot continue to allow rockets to be fired at Israeli cities and civilians from their territory.

ok, so if I live in Houston, and there are groups of punks and gangstas who perpetrate crimes in neighboring cities, like vandalism, rape, and car theft...would those neighboring cities be justified in punishing the collective population of Houston by, say, burning our churches or shutting down our power stations? Israel is not distinguishing between civilian and military targets. They are violating humanitarian law.

This is horrible, especially for me, as a Lebanese person! It just so hapenned that I wanted to travel to Lebanon for some summer fun and meet my family. Instead, my vacation got ruined because THE ISRAELIS BOMBED LEBANON AND STARTED A WAR FOR NO REASON!!!!!!!!!!!!! I understand that they did it because hezbollah kidnapped a soldier, but they were planning it before that ever hapenned! And to think, that Israeli parents acutally teach their kids to hate Lebanese and other Arabs. It is quite obvious, if you seen the pictures! and not all Arabs are terrorists! This is so unfair, we never did anything wrong!

Hizbollah really showed that the winner will not be the more prepared or strongest, but the more believer and the one who is fighting for a reason, to defend their country and their people.

Israel is a worse than apartheid state. Hezbollah and Hamas have a right to defend themselves. It is Israel that is the aggressor. Release the tens of thousands of Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners in your jails, and end the occupation.
