NBC News Crew 'Attacked' By Peaceful Protesters Outside The White House

An NBC News crew was reportedly attacked by peaceful protesters outside the White House on Tuesday night.

The Daily Caller's Shelby Talcott shared the footage:

VIDEO: The crew is okay and retreated to a police line. One cameraman was knocked on the ground with people on top of him.

Was heading back home on my bike (route had me go through the protests) and this happened within minutes.

Again, everyone seemed to be shaken but okay.

Not sure if the cameraman tripped or was pushed or what, to be totally fair. But they were run out of the area after a quick escalation over filming.

The Daily Caller said matter-of-factly that it was an NBC News crew on Twitter.

As far as I can tell, NBC News chose not to share any of the footage themselves.

To me it looked like they just tripped. All the objects being thrown at them were probably just first aid supplies.
