VIDEO: Looters Attack Female Shop Owner As Her Husband Tries Futilely to Stop Them

Shocking video shows a white woman being brutally attacked by a group of thugs in Rochester, New York on Saturday evening after she reportedly tried to stop them from looting a jewelry store next to her own shop.

The thugs are seen punching the woman repeatedly and hitting her with a wooden board.

Her husband runs out to try and save her while shouting "get away from my wife!" but he's outnumbered and fought off.

Police are nowhere to be seen.

In the video, a woman pleads with the people smashing the exterior of Rochester Fire Equipment Company on Marshall Street to stop. The woman yelled at the group of people, who were apparently trying to loot the jewelry store next door.

Several of the people then turn on the woman and begin attacking her, hitting and kicking her, and then used boards to hit her.

The woman's husband runs in toward the end of the recording and tries to break up the attack while swinging a golf club. He was then attacked himself.

The woman is reportedly recovering on Sunday morning.

The video is a stark contrast with the footage from another shop owner in Rochester seen pulling out a shotgun and firing off two shots to scare away looters robbing what some said was his liquor store.

UPDATE: Police released a second video and asked the public for help identifying the perps:
