Reuters legal columnist Alison Frankel was aghast on Friday after learning President Trump may want to "deny political representation to non citizens" by asking census recipients whether or not they're American citizens. "Trump just said in impromptu news conference that he needs citizenship data for Congressional districting," Frankel said on Twitter. "So now we know. This is effort to deny political representation to non citizens." So now we know.
