Though members of both parties love to cite polls which indicate a slim majority oppose building a wall on our southern border to justify not voting for a wall, they couldn't care less about public polling (or the First Amendment) when it comes to banning Americans from boycotting Israel. From Antiwar.com, "Poll: 75% of Americans Oppose Outlawing Boycotts of Israel": New legislation passed in the Senate seeks to legalize the right of individual state governments to force American companies to certify they won't engage in economic boycotts of Israel as a condition for receiving government contracts. Not one Democrat in the senate will vote for the wall to defend America, but the majority (24-22) voted not only to make it illegal for Americans to boycott the state of Israel but also to enshrine into law the requirement that US taxpayers give Israel $38 billion over the next ten years (some of which will no doubt go towards their many walls). Nonetheless, as we learned earlier this week, there's no such thing as an Israel lobby and suggesting otherwise makes you insane. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab and Minds. |
