![]() ![]() When he was running for congress, Crenshaw told the Weekly Standard "we need to support [Trump's] agenda" and we need to "just build the damn [border wall]." After winning his race in Texas's 2nd congressional district, that's all changed. On Sunday, Trump made a solid point highlighting how the MSM is just a propaganda organ for Democrats, running what amounts to paid commercials for the Democrats all day.
While Trump is potentially going to be prosecuted for violating our open-ended campaign finance laws, Democrats getting billions in free advertising -- which unquestionably could be classified as "in-kind donations" -- we're supposed to believe is just fine. Regardless of the subtleties of Trump's statement, Dan Crenshaw rushed to Twitter to attack Trump for allegedly trying to undermine the First Amendment:
The media "deliberately misleading" people "needs to remain legal" and this is "the backbone of American exceptionalism." Really profound stuff, Dan. Dan's previous tweets show he just returned from an all expenses paid vacation (classified as an "educational trip" to skirt the law) to Israel on behalf of AIPAC. As the Houston Chronicle reported last week: Before he officially takes office in January, U.S. Rep-elect Dan Crenshaw is in Israel to get a firsthand look at the key U.S. ally.America First!
