Say Hello to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh

Senator Susan Collins said Friday in a well-thought-out speech before the Senate that she's going to vote for Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Her speech was the exact opposite of Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski's emotional, irrational, rambling diatribe earlier in the day after she voted "no" on cloture (she may still vote "yes" now that her vote doesn't matter).

From CNBC:
Republican Sen. Susan Collins on Friday said she would vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, ending months of speculation from the crucial swing senator.

"Mr. President, I will vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh," Collins said at the very end of a nearly 45-minute long speech on the Senate floor.

Minutes after Collins' speech concluded, Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.V., said that he, too, would vote for Kavanaugh.
Manchin is a filthy coward fence-sitter who only said this after Flake and Collins said they're voting yes.
"Based on all of the information I have available to me, including the recently completed FBI report, I have found Judge Kavanaugh to be a qualified jurist who will follow the Constitution and determine cases based on the legal findings before him," Manchin said.

"I had to deal with the facts I had in front of me," Manchin told reporters over shouts of "Shame!" from protesters in the hallway.
To sum up her speech, Collins pretty much said Kavanaugh's a moderate and she doesn't believe he'll overturn Roe v. Wade.

While he may have been a moderate before, after this witch hunt I wouldn't be so sure.

We do know he's great on immigration, which is ultimately the only issue which actually matters.
