The media freaked out over the weekend headlining fake news about how the US Department of Health and Human Services "lost" nearly 1,500 "unaccompanied minors" who were "taken from their parents." In reality, HHS mostly placed the unaccompanied minors in the care of their family members and relatives, some of whom were illegal aliens themselves, who took the "minors" off the grid to lessen their risk of deportation. Vox's Dara Lind dared to go against the narrative and point out this obvious fact Friday on Twitter:
