Bernie Sanders: Trump Should 'Think About Resigning' Over Old 'Access Hollywood' Tape

Bernie Sanders told "CBS This Morning" on Thursday that President Trump should "think about resigning" because in the 2005 Access Hollywood tape he "acknowledged" that "he's assaulted women."

Sanders said, "Let me take it a little step further. We have a president of the United States who acknowledged on a tape widely seen all over the country that he's assaulted women, so I would hope maybe the president of the United States might pay attention of what's going on and also think about resigning. But if your point is it is not just Al Franken you are absolutely right."

Trump actually said "they let you do it," which is not "sexual assault."

The former communist Bernie Sanders also called for a "Cultural Revolution" in America in response to #MeTooism.

"What I worry about right now, as we speak, in restaurants and in offices all over this country where you have bosses who are not famous, there is harassment of women and women are being intimidated," Sanders said. "We need a cultural revolution in this country."

The Cultural Revolution was part of a communist uprising in China which eventually led to the death of 50 million people and the bankrupting of the nation.

"Millions of people were persecuted in the violent struggles that ensued across the country, and suffered a wide range of abuses including public humiliation, arbitrary imprisonment, torture, hard labor, sustained harassment, seizure of property and sometimes execution. A large segment of the population was forcibly displaced, most notably the transfer of urban youth to rural regions during the Down to the Countryside Movement. Historical relics and artifacts were destroyed. Cultural and religious sites were ransacked," according to Wikipedia.

It's a rather odd comparison for Sanders to make, but it's entirely appropriate as it is what the left is currently seeking to recreate in America.

Bernie Sanders himself wrote a bizarre essay in 1972 for the alternative paper the Vermont Freeman where he said women during sex fantasize about "being raped by 3 men simultaneously" and suggested newspapers with articles such as, "Girl 12 raped by 14 men," "sell so well" because the gang-rape of a child has some sort of sex appeal.

Sanders wrote in his essay, "Man—and Woman":
A man goes home and masturbates his typical fantasy. A woman on her knees, a woman tied up, a woman abused.

A woman enjoys intercourse with her man — as she fantasizes being raped by 3 men simultaneously.

The man and woman get dressed up on Sunday — and go to Church, or maybe to their “revolutionary” political meeting.

Have you ever looked at the Stag, Man, Hero, Tough magazines on the shelf of your local bookstore? Do you know why the newspaper with the articles like “Girl 12 raped by 14 men” sell so well? To what in us are they appealing?
If Trump wrote this and Bernie was to apply his own current standards, you'd have to assume he'd say this was a defense of rape. Perhaps Bernie Sanders should be the one to think about resigning?
