Donald Trump Jr weighed in on his meeting with Fusion GPS connected Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya on Sean Hannity's show Tuesday night.

From The Daily Caller:
In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Hannity Tuesday night, Trump Jr. partially blamed his “learning curve” when it comes to politics for the way he chose to handle the meeting request. Nevertheless, he claimed he would’ve turned “shady” information over to the authorities.

“This is the first time we’ve ever done any of this,” Trump Jr. said. “I’m still way in the learning curve on all of this.”

“That’s what we do in business–if there’s information out there you want it,” he continued. “If there was something that came from it that was shady, if it was a danger to national security, I would obviously bring it right to someone.”

“Turns out there wasn’t anything,” he concluded.

Part 2:

Hannity's opener:

This story reeks of being a setup. The government has had nothing to link Trump to any collusion with Russia in over 8 months of their hysterical witch hunt, but now this one email from weirdo Rob Goldstone -- which all the evidence shows was factually incorrect as she produced no dirt on Clinton at all -- is being spun into evidence of their insane Russkie conspiracy theory.

Investigating Hillary Clinton's many crimes is not a crime. Don Jr. was extremely naive in not realizing this meeting was a retarded idea and almost guaranteed to be a setup, but that is not a crime.

It's unfortunate because it gives ammo to the lying media to further their hysterical Russkie conspiracy narrative which was basically dead.

Now, with Don Jr. saying he'll testify under oath and work with Mueller, that gives the perfect opportunity to catch him on some Martha Stewart-style charges if he's in anyway deceptive with their trained investigators who are experts at tricking people.

If he actually works with Mueller, that's likely to be an even bigger mistake than saying "I love it" in his email.
