Attorney General Jeff Sessions blasted the Democrats' Russkie conspiracy theory during testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday, saying the suggestion he would have colluded with the Russian government after 35 years of public service "is an appalling and detestable lie.”

"Let me state this clearly: I have never met with or had any conversations with any Russians or any foreign officials concerning any type of interference with any campaign or election," Sessions said. "Further, I have no knowledge of any such conversations by anyone connected to the Trump campaign."

"I was your colleague in this body for 20 years, at least some of you, and the suggestion that I participated in any collusion, that I was aware of any collusion with the Russian government to hurt this country, which I have served with honor for 35 years or to undermine the integrity of our democratic process, is an appalling and detestable lie," he said.

Sessions said he's not going to unrecuse himself from the Russia investigation and fire special counsel Robert Mueller, saying he "wouldn't think that'd be appropriate for me to do."

Using this Russian conspiracy hoax to undermine and sabotage Trump's presidency isn't appropriate either, the Democrats don't care. Republicans need to grow spines and fight back against these scumbags rather than constantly lose in the name of "muh principles."
