Former FBI Director James Comey is testifying before congress today on his conversations with Donald Trump and the Russkie conspiracy.

In his prepared remarks released yesterday, he confirmed he told Trump three times he was not being personally investigated.

Trump's lawyer Marc Kasowitz said in a statement: "The president is pleased that Mr. Comey has finally publicly confirmed his private reports that the president was not under investigation in any Russian probe. The president feels completely and totally vindicated. He is eager to continue to move forward with his agenda."

Update: Comey just assured the American people "the FBI is honest."

He lied under oath in the first five minutes.
