There's "no evidence" yet that Trump campaign officials had any inappropriate contacts with Russian agents, House Permanent Committee on Intelligence chairman Devin Nunes told the press on Monday. From Breitbart: "As of right now, we have no evidence, but we will continue to ask for evidence and look for evidence," said Rep. Devin Nunes (R.-Calif.), who called the press conference to deal with a number of issues, including a New York Times report that the members of the Trump campaign were in contact with Russian intelligence and that he was pressured by the White House to call reporters to knock down the Times story. The hauling of citizens before a congressional hearing based on media reports would bring back the days of McCarthyism, he said. The evidence is clear: Nunes is a Russian agent. We need a special prosecutor to investigate Nunes for his connections with Russia. Has he ever spoken to any Russian intelligence agents? Has he ever contacted anyone who is ethnically Russian? Has he ever purchased any Russian dolls for his home or as a gift for a friend or relative? Has he ever spoken jokingly with a thick Russian accent??? We need answers and we need them now.
