According to Berkeley professor and former US Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, Donald Trump's "lies" caused the riots in Sweden on Monday night. Earlier this month, Reich floated the insane conspiracy theory that Breitbart plants were responsible for the riots at Berkeley. That's since been thoroughly debunked. Floating another loony theory Tuesday, Reich said on Twitter: "Trump's lies have consequences. 48 hrs after his comments on Sweden, riots broke out in an immigrant community." The riots were actually triggered by the arrest of a drug dealer. Trump lied about nothing, it was the media who lied by falsely claiming he said there was a "terror attack" in Sweden "last night." Twitter users mocked Reich in response:
Some dumb people actually believed him:
Why is Berkeley getting federal funding when their most famous professor is pushing insane conspiracy theories and blaming our president for riots halfway across the world without any evidence?
