From Fox News:
Tucker Carlson confronted Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple over his coverage of his employer, asking "Why don't you cover your own paper's shortcomings?"
The "Tucker Carlson Tonight" host took issue with a December story in which the Post claimed that Russian hackers had infiltrated the U.S. power grid via a Vermont utility company. The paper later retracted that portion of the story.Tucker went on to say he sees Wemple "as a political hack acting out his political beliefs on paper with the cover of media criticism," adding, "and everyone who reads you knows that."
It's hard to believe the Murdoch brothers, both of whom hate Trump, actually let this on the air. Tucker's show is on pace to become the number one show on cable news.
He double's Megyn Kelly's ratings in a single week.
If profits were actually driving what was put on TV every show would be like this and we'd be living in free society with an informed electorate, instead most major networks are run at a loss as their corporate overlords view having a brainwashed public of mindless consumers whom they can control more important than running a (relatively) small profitable news outlet.
