Comedian Amy Schumer rushed to her relative Chuck Schumer's defense Tuesday after President Trump mocked the "fake tears" he poured out Sunday over his travel ban.

Amy Schumer, whose father is cousins with Senator Chuck Schumer, ran cover for Chuck's crying stunt in an Instagram post, imploring people to "trust" her when she says "HE CANNOT act."

From The Hill:
"I know Chuck Schumer and HE CANNOT act trust me. He can barely smile on cue," she wrote in an Instagram post. "He can’t help but be transparent and genuine. He was hurt for those people and all the people facing such unconstitutional injustice."
We're aware he can't act, Amy.

That's why everyone was laughing at his stupid stunt rather than crying.
Amy Schumer used an Instagram post as an opportunity to reach out to those opposed to the order and other Trump policies.

"We can't get burnt out or overwhelmed and distracted. We need to stay focused and organized. Tell your friends who say 'I'm just not political' that that doesn't cut it anymore. We need people alert and fighting for each other's rights."
Agreed, please keep annoying people with your preachy, high pitched whining. I'm sure that'll work out great.
