A Muslim female college student who claimed she was attacked and robbed by two "white male" Trump supporters for wearing a hijab admitted to police she made the whole story up.
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – A University of Louisiana Lafayette student who said she was physically attacked and robbed of her wallet and hijab made up the story, according to the Lafayette Police Department. The Lafayette Police Department issued a news release saying: "During the course of the investigation, the female complainant admitted that she fabricated the story about her physical attack as well as the removal of her hijab and wallet by two white males."
Incidentally, the ACLU rushed to defend the hoax-artist after her story went "viral" (every lying media propaganda organ pushed it in lock step).
They issued a statement reading:
The ACLU of Louisiana is outraged at the news of a young Muslim woman being assaulted and robbed of her hijab in Lafayette yesterday morning. The report that her attackers also shouted slurs and wore Donald Trump clothing is especially troubling in light of Mr. Trump’s frequent use of anti-Muslim rhetoric on the campaign trail. How interesting they've been totally silent over the recent videos of Trump supporters being attacked.
After the story was admitted to be a hoax, they released another statement repeating themselves and saying other similar stories are probably totally real even though this one was a total hoax:
"We call on all Louisianians to reject anti-Muslim bigotry. Muslim Americans and residents have the same rights that we all do: to practice our religion freely and openly, to live and work without fear, and to participate equally in public life," the statement said.I bet all the Trump supporters seen being violently assaulted by thug Hillary supporters for their beliefs would love to have free representation from the ACLU, but alas, some victims of political bigotry are more equal than others.
No worries, all this will change soon.
The sleeping giant has awakened.
