![]() Telling people to make eye contact in accordance with American norms is "insensitive" to Asian students, so says an ESOL instructor at Portland Community College's "Whiteness History Month."Perhaps it would be good for Americans to start tipping Japanese people when they visit Japan -- despite it being considered an insult in their culture -- because, hey, they need to "accommodate" us 'Mericans and stop being so damn "insensitive"!
