 "Political correctness is just absolutely killing us as a country," Donald Trump told Chuck Todd on Meet the Press yesterday. "You can't say anything. Anything you say today, they will find a reason why it's not good." Trump went on to refuse to apologize for criticizing Fox host Megan Kelly, "All I said is there is blood pouring out of her eyes and there was blood. And then I said you know what, I'm going to get on to the next sentence because frankly I don't have to talk about the blood coming out of her ears and her nose. It's a very common statement." Amazingly, despite Trump committing faux pas after faux pas, he's managed to stay atop the polls. With the way the perpetual outrage twitter and tumblr brigades work these days, it's quite remarkable. |
