Nora Longoria, who was accused by a McAllen police officer of failing multiple sobriety tests and begging for special treatment, had her drunken driving charges dropped last month, The Monitor reported. Hidalgo County Court at Law No. 8 Judge Rolando Cantu threw out the case, marking "other" for the reasoning. There wasn't enough evidence to prosecute, Hidalgo County District Attorney Rene Guerra told the Monitor. "When looking at the video it doesn't sound to me like she had slurred speech," Guerra said.
