Earlier this week, the San Diego Police Department traumatized an innocent man by pointing dozens of laser sighted machine guns at him as he stepped out onto his balcony Tuesday morning.

The victim, who posted a video of the encounter under the YouTube user name Demetrice Gordon said that a large number of police officers surrounded his building with guns drawn because he “fit the description” of a “black man with a beard.”

“They accused me of being armed and came to the wrong home after a woman with a very suspect story claimed to have been beaten and threatened with a gun. While this was happening the person they were supposed to be looking for got away,” said Gordon.

In the first few minutes of the video, as police begin to surround the building, they can actually be seen pointing their guns directly at onlookers who were taking cell phone video recordings.  People in the background can be heard scrambling to get their children inside, not to protect them from the alleged criminal, but from the heavily armed police.

Other police reportedly spread out along the street, telling onlookers to get inside and turn their cellphone cameras off.

The man stands on his balcony for minutes with his hands up, politely asking police to explain why there are dozens of guns pointed at him.  They refuse to explain anything to the man, but immediately assume the right to search his house for weapons, and whatever else they feel like searching for.

One of the onlookers was forced to move back by police, but they went around to the other side of the house to resume filming.

In the second part of the video, the police can be heard explaining to the man that they received a domestic violence report from his girlfriend.  He responded by asking “who is my girlfriend?“.

When they said that they received a call from a woman named Patricia, the man knew exactly who they were talking about and yelled out “you have the wrong house! You are looking for apartment 5! This is not OK! That is the unit in the back!”

The officers then asked him to walk out of his door slowly with his hands raised.  The man asserted his rights and said “Hell no! I have done nothing wrong and machine guns are pointed at me!”

The officer who was negotiating with him then responded by saying “no one has a machine gun pointed at you“.  Meanwhile, there are a number of red dots moving around on his chest.

After the officers actually double-check with their caller and verify Demetrice’s full identity, they announced to him that “we are satisfied that you are not the guy we are looking for, if you would like to go back into your apartment you can.  If you would like to come out here for your safety, which is why we are here, you are welcome to come out, OK?

To which he responded “The only thing that I am worried about is pigs killing black people!”

He also said in the YouTube caption that the police captain attempted to intimidate him into not filing a complaint.
