![]() Experiencing fear is reason enough to execute someone if you're a cop, even if it was just a child holding a toy in his hand, at least according to a grand jury out of Bartow County, Georgia. From 11 Alive: BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. – A Bartow County grand jury has declined to indict a Euharlee police officer in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old. The police officer was serving a warrant for a probation violation, which had nothing to do with the boy she executed, but was instead for his father. Her paranoia led her to summarily execute this child when he answered the door with a toy, and yes, all evidence indicates it was a toy as the "gun" she imagined was never produced. This woman literally got away with murder, all because she was a cop and experienced fear. |
