Under the guise of "reducing rape," Maryland politicians passed a law banning the sale of 190-proof grain alcohol.

Maryland joins at least a dozen other states Tuesday in banning the sale of 190-proof grain alcohol, a measure that lawmakers hope will help to reduce sexual assaults and binge drinking among college students.Nowhere was it explained how causing a person to drink more of a slightly lesser-grain alcohol to get the same buzz will actually reduce rape, but let's not let that get in the way of phony politicians' hysterics.
