Baby Flashbanged by Cops Has Surgery Delayed Due to Worsening Health

Chris | InformationLiberation

Bounkham “Bou Bou” Phonesavanh, the baby flashbanged by police executing a fruitless no-knock drug raid was scheduled to have surgery yesterday to help him breathe on his own. Unfortunately, due to worsening health the surgery had to be delayed.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports:
Worsening health postponed surgery to repair the deep chest wound caused when a flash-bang grenade landed on thew child’s pillow in the play-pen where he was sleeping. He also suffered severe burns on his head and face.

“Right now the focus is prayers for the child,” Davis said. “His fevers have been spiking. He is not out of the woods yet.”

[...]Bou Bou is in a medically induced coma in the Grady Memorial Hospital burn unit and breathing on a ventilator because a lung has stopped working, said his mother, Alecia Phonesavanh

Doctors said he had a 50 percent chance of survival, family members said.
If this baby dies the cops must be charged with criminal homicide.

11893 My first thought was, If this baby dies. I'm happy that others think this way. Don't let Bou Bou be forgotten. Like it or not he is a martyr and the militarized American Police must disband or go to war.

70194 I'd sue every member of that swat team, the judge who issued the warrant, the police dept, the city, the county, the state, the police dept itself, and the manufacturer of that flash bang. Then use the money the flash bang the officers family members if they'd of done that to my child.
