Eric Holder Suggests Restricting 2nd Amendment Using "Gun Bracelets"

The Attorney General wants to curtail freedom through mandated technology.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said that the Department of Justice will “explore” the idea of restricting gun rights by imposing ill-conceived technological mandates for operating guns, such as biometric identification or an electronic bracelet.

On Friday, April 4th, Holder divulged some of his gun control ideas in front of a House appropriations subcommittee.
“I think that one of the things that we learned when we were trying to get past those common sense reforms last year, Vice President Biden and I had a meeting with a group of technology people and we talked about how guns can be made more safe by making them either through finger print identification, the gun talks to a bracelet or something that you might wear, how guns can be used only by the person who is lawfully in possession of the weapon.

It's those kinds of things that I think we want to try to explore so that we can make sure that people have the ability to enjoy their Second Amendment rights, while at the same time decreasing the misuse of weapons that lead to the kinds of things that we see on a daily basis.”

Saving children has always been a convenient cover for those who wish to advance the police state, such that inalienable rights are converted into heavily-restricted, state-sanctioned privileges.  Holder has always favored this view.

Holder’s plans to subvert the 2nd Amendment have been glaring for decades.  He famously in 1995 called for a repetitive “anti-gun” message in government schools that was designed to “brainwash people to thinking about guns in a vastly different way.”

Imagine if Holder feigned interest in people “enjoying their First Amendment rights” with the suggestion of mandated fingerprint scans and ID bracelets for public protesting. Imagine if Holder used schools as a tool to “brainwash” children about other civil rights.  These ideas are offensive to those who value their liberty.

While Holder enjoys the benefit of armed bodyguards, he oversees international gun scandals like Operation Fast & Furious and moves to make basic self-defense more expensive, more clumsy, and more failure-prone for the average American.
